Prince & Kabar and Rudolph Valentino

Rudolph Valentino was the "worlds greatest lover" and a sensitive soul who adored children and animals. His alsatian dog called Prince, accompanied him wherever he went and he used to autograph publicity photos of himself with Prince. Prince died before Valentino but his other dog Kabar did not. Kabar was reputedly a Great Dane/ Doberman and when Valentino died in 1926 at the age of 31 the dog was inconsolable. It is said as Rudolph passed away the dog howled pitifully. Six months later Kabar died and no reason could be attributed except a broken heart. Both the dog and his Master seem to be unwilling to rest. There have been several hundred sightings of Valentino at his Oxnard beach house in California and Kabar haunts his final resting place. Kabar is buried at Los Angeles pet cemetery and visitors report hearing panting near his grave and having their hand licked as they pass by.
