SHEP - The Blue Peter Dog Shep was the most famous of all the pets featured on the Childrens TV show, Blue Peter. He was brought in to replace the original dog Petra. He formed a great partnership with TV presenter John Noakes and they became an inseperable double act. Shep was a very excitable dog and Johns cry of "Get Down Shep!" became a famous catchphrase and even penned a song from the Barron Knights.
