We weren't looking to buy a fish when we went in the pet shop that Saturday. But he had such a comical face that he came home with us.
The name Giant Gourami meant nothing, but he soon lived up to it, growing from a scrawny one inch specimen to nearly two feet long. If you clicked your fingers above the water he would come up for a tickle and then be hand fed. He was an unusual pet and is greatly missed.
